Currency
Nepal uses the Nepalese rupee (symbol: ₨), code NPR.
Banknotes come in denominations of 1000, 500, 250, 100, 50, 25, 20, 10, 5, 2 and 1 rupees. Rupee is subdivided into 100 paisas. Coins come in denominations of 10, 5, 2 and 1 rupees and 50, 25, 10, 5 and 1 paisas.
