Kyrgyzstan uses the Kyrgyzstani som (symbol: лв), code KGS.
Banknotes come in denominations of 5000, 2000, 1000, 500, 200, 100, 50, 20, 10, 5 and 1 soms and 50, 10 and 1 tyiyns. Som is subdivided into 100 tyiyns. Coins come in denominations of 10, 5, 3 and 1 soms and 50, 10 and 1 tyiyns.
